Being the topic of the week seems to be on flashing, I had to add my story. Sunday we went to the nursing home to visit Catherine. There was an eldery man sitting outside in a wheel chair with alot of Marti Grais beads around his neck. I thought "NO I'm not flashing you". He probably would have been the only one desperate enough to appreciate the it.
What are you giving up for Lent? Our church said fasting for those under 59, that's one good thing about getting old. As Publix has butter pecan ice cream on sale this week I don't think the Big H is sacrificing that. I have the Tea on Saturday, so I know I'm not giving up desserts. No meat on Wednesday and Friday means I'll be going to Essex for shrimp.
