I have been trying to grow lilacs in my yard for years. They never want to blossom. This one finally blossomed, and it is maroon, although on the picture it looks lilac colored. I moved one that I brought from Rapids over 10 years ago, that never blossomed, to a different spot in my yard. Maybe someday that will bloom. I don't know what oolor that one will be. I love surprises.
