My Week At Eating Rock

It was a cool and wet week, but we still caught fish.

Off Fishing

Tomorrow we leave for a week fishing in Canada. I checked the weather and it doesn't look the best, but we will still fish. We are looking forward to this as we missed going last year. Everything is pretty much packed (too many cookies and desserts). Hopefully I will be able to post some fish pictures next week.

Yankee Ballgame

We wnet to Milwaukee and saw a terrific ballgame. I got to be the fielder when we practiced off the pitching machine. We had a outdoor dinner with s'mores for dessert and had a great game of Hide and seek.

Lilacs

I have been trying to grow lilacs in my yard for years. They never want to blossom. This one finally blossomed, and it is maroon, although on the picture it looks lilac colored. I moved one that I brought from Rapids over 10 years ago, that never blossomed, to a different spot in my yard. Maybe someday that will bloom. I don't know what oolor that one will be. I love surprises.
