Comings and Goings

We're on the downward side of winter. Sally and Gary left this morning, Jim and Katie left on Thursday. It's a beautiful sunny day, I think I'll go down on the beach. It's time to think about cutting down on food, Friday night we went with the Raab's and Schalla's for shrimp, Sat. night I had dinner here, and last night Doris had the whole group for "Port Aransas shrimp". Evie and Joe are leaving tomorrow, Dave's folks came in Saturday. Andy and Tony come on the 14th.
There was a funeral today, so line-dancing was cancelled. This afternoon the "Island Trash" are having a red hat sale, I think we will take that in.

Progresso

We went to Progresso Mexico today(remember Paraguay). We bought vanilla, kaluha, some jewelry, billfold, honey, alot of medication and the Big H got his haircut. He went to a better barber than Gary. It was an interesting day.

The Whole Group

We were all together tonight at Caryl and Laird's for dinner, it's a big group.

Treasure Chest

The treasure chest got opened tonight. It had alot of souveneirs, a hat, a gift card and enough coins that earned us 2 t-shirts. It was a fun party.
Sharon came in last night, so that makes 14.

Fat Tuesday

Pot Luck at noon and parade at 5:00. Pictures to follow. How is Jen dealing without her punckas today.
Sunny and cool today, 61 high, we are walking with the float and distributing beads. (and no lifting of shirts, they wouldn't have to lift them very far here.) I could have done the line dance group too, but we're doing Senile Isle float.
