Family Reunion

The Frost family reunion will be Sunday at noon at Lake Sherwood in Clark County. Let me know if anyone needs directions.
The Big H is going to be glued to the tv tonight for the Brewer game with the Cubs. I think I will go for a walk. It will be easier on my nerves as I don't have to here him yell at the tv.

No Plans Weekend

This is the first weekend all summer that we don't have any plans. What a surprise. The raspberries are ripening, so the big H picked enough already to make my first batch of raspberry jam of the season.

The garden is starting to produce, should have cumcumbers in a couple of days.

We met a black bear last night on our walk. He was trying to hide, but I spotted him after I heard him stomping through the brush.

The Big H is really happy with his new Brewer channel. They have won every game since we got it.

Miscellaneous Monday

Living off the Land:
Dinner tonight consists of Canadian Walleye, beans, lettuce, radishes,& tomatoes from the garden, with rhurbarb sauce and rhurbarb cake. The clothes are drying on the line. I love summer.

The Big H took out his own stitches, so we can cancel that Dr. apt., anyone need their appendics taken out?

My new favorite watch: John Adams
I learned independence was messy and politicians were always the same. We've watched the first two series and can't wait for the next one to arrive.

Kids, Baseball, & Drs.,

The last of the Grandchildren left on Saturday. I think we all had a good time, swimming, eating (s'mores), playing cards, ripsticking and movie watching. No major injurys, or fights.
This weekend we took Clayton back to Dexterville and went to visit friends Bill and Eunice. The Big H got to go 4 wheeling. A trip through Babcock wasn't much of a treat. Saturday night he got to go 4 wheeling again at brother Stan's. Sunday was off to the Brewers with the drunken, dopehead barflies from Dub's in Pittsville. Half of them were passed out during the game. The good news is that the Brewers won 3-2 and my numbers were 4-3, everyone else picked high numbers.
Today was putting in the new microwave and getting Dr. apt. for the big guy. A dark mole didn't look good to me, but the Dr. didn't think it was anything. He did remove it and put in a few stitches. Now we're setting up appointments for the big tube. I just have all kinds of fun things for him to do.
